Yippee the dreaded finals are over

Yay those awful finals are finally over. I can now get to my 2 and a half weeks of vacation time. I did pretty well on the finals too my lowest grade was a C and that was only because it was a group project and the person the teacher put in charge of the group wasnt a very good leader.....no the leader of the group was not me. I knew someone would think that.I left school early friday at 10:30 because they made the schedule for a 4 hour time period in homeroom after the last final. Boy, was the sign out line long.

Lol..I've had one whole week off already

Time for week 2! I can't wait for Monday..

I actually just got home, yay for 14 days of leave. =) I love the Marine Corps, 14 days of paid vacation.

I've been out since Dec. 8th... so.. beat that

Vacations don't exsist!

But since I work 6 days a week, it's really just an enforced two day weekend. :D

how could thee hate eighth grade furybreed. yur the top dog of the school at that grade. when thee go to high school u'll be at the bottom of the barrel.

Then again..picking on seventh graders IS fun..(we don't go into Middle School til we're in seventh grade down here).

my eighth grade year was the best year I've had so far. sigh soooo many memories I've made with my friends that year. and most of them the year book commitee took pictures of and put into the yearbook without us noticing......hehehe but seriouslyschool is so much greater with friends to hang with. I cant stand these high school classes because now I dont have my friends to goof off with. I have to be...... serious.a bit of my eighth grade year included me finding out about wyvern too. It also included me finding myself more interested in anime.

Yeah..I'm a lot more interested in anime this year. Full metal alchetmist..Fooley Cooley..DBZ (no laughing)..Inuyasha..and multiple different mangas. The only bad thing this year is, I got the crappy team..my friend got the one with all the awesome guys..

what are thee talking about "teams"?

thee know..purple team..red team...stuff like that? Maybe it's just our state or whatever..it's in middle school only though, I dont think they do it in high school.

And yeah, I know how thee feel fury. In 8th grade I got put in the Purple(Retard) team. It had some of the fun kids in it, but there were 2 teachers instead of the regular 4, and they were terrible. Surprisingly enough, that was a fun year. Suitcase Kid!!!

can anyone please explain to me what they are talking about? there are no teams or at least not in this state nor any other school I've ever gone to.

Wow..I've got 6 teachers for some reason..5 if thee count Mcfalls for both classes instead of splitting. I've got 60 minutes for class..4 'core' classes..and 2 rotations. right now I have spanish 1 and Economics.

But hey, there's a few cool people on my team..Jared, Brandyn, Wayman, Jay, and..well..maybe not so much with George

um it doesnt really tell me much. and during my eigth grade year I think we had 8 classes.each one 42 minutes long. now in high school I have eight classes each one 50 minutes long with a passing period of 6 minutes i believe.

Wow. I get 4 classes, each an hour and a half. Plus lunch.

hmmmm in my high school there are four lunch periods the one thee go to is determined by which class thee have during 6,7,and 8th period.I dont very much like my classes for this second semester.......like none of my friends are in my classes with me. they either have a different teacher or they failed the class and had to take a different class or get study hall.

I think the teams are some kind of lame version of cliques, except some older kids force thee into them while teasing thee or something. Sounds stupid. >.>.

No..in our school, before thee go for 7th or 8th grade, there are teams..6 of them. Black, Red, Blue, Gold, Purple, and (the one I hate most) Green. Before thee go, they use a computer or something and sort the kids into teams..on each team, there is a 7th and 8th grade, and we have about 120 kids or so per team. thee have 4 core classes in each team (Math, Social Studies, Science, and Language Arts..AKA English), and we have 2 rotations (Government, Economics, PE, Dance [also PE], and some others. What team thee get determines your Core Classes and what teachers thee have.

sigh that sounds so bothersome.......if i were thee i'd tranfer to a different school. I'm not gonna be in no stinkin team. sounds way too similar to harry potter.

Yeah..I hate it too. But it isn't even complicated. Just go to school the first day, see your team, go to the Gym, and the teachers pull out all of the students on that team and show them where the classes are on the first day..it's not really complicated if thee look at it. I'm just bad at explaining
